Industrial Lofts:
An industrial loft is a historic vintage or warehouse-type building that has been converted into living spaces. Common features may include exposed brick and duct work, as well as concrete or hardwood flooring. The space remains quite industrial, but all of the luxuries of modern living, such as furnished kitchens, high speed Internet access and oval garden tubs, may have been incorporated.
Soft Lofts:
Another popular option is the 'soft loft,' recently-constructed buildings that are designed with traditional loft elements. Several downtown neighborhoods have various styles of soft lofts to choose from. When chosing to buy or lease a loft, one should keep in mind the nature of loft living and the best ways to make the space work for your own needs.

Downtown Dallas:
Downtown Dallas has experienced an exciting revival over the last few years, dallasites are flocking to the heart of the city and heading back downtown. Beautiful vintage historic buildings have been and or being converted into lofts and new luxury apartments for those wanting the uncommon, and unordinary, new restaurants, retail, and a new urban grocery market have been opened and downtown is experiencing a revitalization as people want to be downtown for the convenience and the enjoyment of it.
Deep Ellum
Just three blocks east of downtown, Deep Ellum now a trendy hot spot, is full of historic warehouses and buildings that have been converted into niteclubs, retail stores, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, shoppes and urban lofts. Block parties and street festivals are common in this cutting edge neighborhood where murals and graffiti line the streets. New York has Soho - Dallas has Deep Ellum
Turtle Creek
Turtle Creek is a narrow, shallow creek that meanders its way through an area of central Dallas that is flanked by luxury apartments, highrise condos, townhomes, homes and highrises with spectacular views. Foot paths and wooden benches accomodate those who want to enjoy the scenery.
Uptown
Experience fine dining, shopping, entertainment all within walking distance of this vital and thriving historic pedestrian friendly neighborhood lined with brick lined streets and catch the trolley cars for brief picturesque journeys. Adjacent to the Arts District and just north of Downtown Dallas
West End
The West End is a nationally recognized entertainment, sports, and museum district. In the early 1800s John Neely Bryan, known as the founder of Dallas, established a trading post on a bluff of the Trinity River not far from the present day West End Historic District. Enjoy a night on the town or a sports event in this vibrant exciting hot spot.
West Village
The West Village is located within uptown bordered by Lemmon, and Mckinney Streets, the trolley line runs through shoppes, restaurants, apartment homes, lofts and flats, book stores, coffee shop, and a theater.
Arts District
Just north of Uptown is the Dallas Arts District, which includes the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Nasher Sculpture Center. Also, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Lower Greenville
This East Dallas part of "lower" end of Greenville avenue, has numerous restaurants and retails shoppes that has been a popular hot spot for entertainment. Includes several bars and restaurants featuring entrees for every taste. Also vintage antique shoppes and retail stores.
Knox-McKinney
On the upper end of Uptown is Knox Mckinney area, close to Central Expressway and just a few minutes from downtown, this area features apartments, coffee shop, retail and outdoor dining. This is a pedestrian friendly area.
